JAKARTA - Guitarist Slash confirmed, Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators is gathering ideas for a new album. This effort will be a follow-up to Living The Dream, which was released in September 2018 through Slash's label, Snakepit Records, in partnership with Roadrunner Records.

Living The Dream is Slash's fourth solo album, and third with Slash and his Conspirators bandmates; Kennedy, Todd Kerns (bass, vocals), Brent Fitz (drums) and Frank Sidoris (guitar and vocals).

"We did initial pre-production for a week, and there were 20 songs and we'll start back next year. I spent a lot of time writing and demonstrating that," Slash said in a new interview with Cleveland.com.

Slash added that before pre-producing his solo project, he and Duff McKagan did some jamming and recording for Guns N 'Roses.

"And I have some extra footage, so there's a lot going on. I'm really not good at slowing down (performance) and just sitting around," he continued.

The owner of the real name Saul Hudson said he hoped that both his solo project and Guns N 'Roses would arrive next year. However, he still could not confirm the details of the date and month.

"It's hard to say, but I want us to release new material next year," he added.

For Guns N 'Roses, this will be the follow-up to the Chinese Democracy album released in 2008 and the first album featuring Slash, Duff and Axl since 1993, the album The Spaghetti Incident?

Guns N 'Roses have spent most of their last 4.5 years touring with the classic line-up Slash, Duff and Axl supported by guitarist Richard Fortus, drummer Frank Ferrer, and keyboardists Dizzy Redd and Melissa Reese.
