JAKARTA - Nikita Mirzani had to accept the fact that the trial she was undergoing had to be postponed again. Dito Mahendra as a reporting witness who is scheduled to be heard at the Serang District Court on Monday, December 19, was again absent.

Based on the statement of the Public Prosecutor (JPU), Dito was unable to attend the second summons this time because he was still sick. "For witness Dito Mahendra, we went directly to the hospital yesterday. Until today he is still being treated," said the prosecutor to the media crew at the Serang District Court, Monday, December 19.

Based on the information obtained, since a few days ago Dito has suffered from dengue fever and has not recovered until now. However, during the trial, the panel of judges rejected the reason for Dito's absence and ordered a forced summons at the next trial.

"So, against the witness because there are no legitimate obstacles, a forced summons will be made, yes, even though he attached a doctor's statement, his illness according to the panel was not a serious or permanent illness so he could not come to testify at trial," said the panel of judges during the trial.

Fahmi Bachmid as Nikita Mirzani's attorney also supported the judge's decision. "Because I have seen earlier, the panel of judges has determined and ordered to pick up paaa he is a person, Khaerul and Mahendra Dito," said Fahmi.

The lawyer also warned that if later the forced pick-up of Dito Mahendra as a witness to the reporter was not carried out. "Yes, it is already about to be issued a forced pick-up decision on December 29, we'll see later. If on the 29th it doesn't exist and is not forcibly picked up, it means this is a procedure," he concluded.
