JAKARTA - HYBE released an additional statement regarding Jin BTS's planned military service. It is known that the oldest member of BTS will undergo military service this month even though the agency has not mentioned a specific date.

The agency reiterated that there was no farewell event on the day Jin entered the training center. In addition, they also asked that neither the media nor the public try to enter the training center.

On the day of the inauguration, the place is predicted to be filled by soldiers, family members, and some fans. "We ask the media not to visit the inauguration site," he said.

"To prevent unwanted events, Jin will enter the training ground by vehicle without greeting the media or fans separately," he continued.

The agency also explained that there is no special waiting place for journalists or the public provided. Therefore, they hope that the public, especially fans, can understand the agency's decision.

The day before, Jin shared a photo with his hair that had been cut before his military service. He released this photo through the Weverse fan site for BTS fans called ARMY.

Jin BTS is enlisting in the military after completing the promotion of The Astronaut, his first solo single. He performed with Coldplay to perform the song in Buenos Aires.
