Zendaya Joins 3 Months For The Role Of Tennis In The Film Challengers

JAKARTA - Actress Zendaya is back with her latest sports project in the sport genre. He was confirmed to join the film Challengers directed by Luca Guadagnino.

They are currently in the process of post-production. The director also admitted that he was amazed by Zendaya because of how he prepared his role.

"I mean wow. We edited the film and we hardly used double (stunt)," Luca Guadagnino quoted People as saying today, Tuesday, October 18.

"He (Zendaya) is very good. It's amazing," said Guadagnino again.

Furthermore, the director explained they were training for months. This tennis-themed film will look intense but Guadagnino is reluctant to divulge more.

They spend three months working harder. All of them are technically, athletics, "said Luca Guadagnino.

Meanwhile, it is not yet known whether Zendaya will fill the soundtrack of this film. Guadagnino said they were focused on scoring from Trent Reznor andten Ross.

Zendaya plays Tashi, the wife of tennis coach (Mike Faist) who has suffered successive defeats. Her husband will face Tashi's ex-lover in the next game.

Besides Zendaya and Mike Faist, the film also stars Josh O'Connor and AJ Sister. The film Challengers is scheduled to air on August 11, 2023.
