Fans Complain Studio Ghibli Movie Trailer Earwig And The Witch

JAKARTA - Studio Ghibli released the premiere trailer for Earwig and the Witch on Tuesday, December 1. This film is awaited by fans as it is the first CGI film from Studio Ghibli.

However, after the trailer was released, fans complained about the animation in Earwig and the Witch. They feel the CGI animation looks stiff and makes the scene weird.

There are also those who feel the color composition in the trailer makes the audience uncomfortable. Others have defended that the trailer was released in 360p resolution and was rated very low.

Earwig and the Witch is a new Ghibli film adapted from the 2011 book by Diana Wynne Jones. The story centers on a child who is adopted by a witch. The film is directed by Goro Miyazaki, son of Hayao Miyazaki.

Previously, actress Sherina Munaf announced that she would join the production of this film as voice acting and filling in the song.
