Maura Higgins Warns Her New Girlfriend: I'm Hungry To Make Love Due To Lockdown

JAKARTA - Love Island star Maura Higgins gave a warning to her new boyfriend, Chris Taylor, after the couple confirmed their relationship after months of speculation.

Sharing a photo of herself and Chris taken during a holiday in Dubai, the couple leaned over to kiss each other. Maura then wrote the caption: "He is mine."

Meanwhile, Chris shared the same photo on social media alongside the caption: "It turns out I'm in love with my best friend."

Chris (29) and Maura (30) first met in Love Island 2019. But their love failed to materialize where Maura ended up dating Curtis Pritchard.

Maura, who works as a hairdresser, recently told The Sun that she was worried about her boyfriend after she was locked down for six months without a man.

"I feel 100 percent the sexiest in my life," he said.

She went on to add: "I'm getting sexier for my new lover! Now I really feel like I'm ready to be with someone.

"I'm 100 percent single and ready to mingle."

"God help the next person I meet. I'm not sure he will be able to put up with me," exclaimed Maura.

The lovers, both of whom now live in Essex, previously refused to acknowledge their relationship. Both insisted they were just friends.

During a recent question and answer session with his social media followers, a fan was brave enough to ask about Chris, to which Maura replied: “This was the first question that came in and I wasn't even one bit surprised.

"No, we're not dating. We're best friends. We get along really well. We get along really well in the (Love Island) villa, but there's not much to see."
