EXO's Xiumin Invites Mark NCT Collaboration On New Brand Album

JAKARTA - EXO's Xiumin will debut solo through an album titled Brand New. This album contains five songs featuring Xiumin musicality skills.

Today, Wednesday, September 21, SM Entertainment announced that one of the tracks on the album Brand New is a collaboration. Xiumin duet with Mark NCT for a song called How We Do.

The song How We Do is called the new jack swing genre which is thick with the '90s era. This song tells the side of self-reliance from a restraining world.

Not only singing, but Mark also wrote and sang the rap section of the song. Mark is known to be one of NCT members who is known for his writing abilities.

This year, Mark has written several songs for NCT Dream's album, NCT 127, and his solo project, Child. He also wrote the song Lit for the Street Man Fighter event.

How We Do then became Xiumin and Mark's second collaboration. Previously they had a duet through Young & Free which became part of the SM STATION series in 2017.

To celebrate his solo debut, Xiumin will hold Countdown Live on September 26.

On the other hand, Xiumin is also confirmed to star in a Korean drama titled Bossdol Mart. he will compete acting with Hyungwon MONSTA X and actor Lee Shin Young.

Bossdol Mart tells the story of former members of the idol group who gather to build a supermarket business. This drama is directed by director Lee Yoo Yeon.

As for Xiumin EXO's new album, Brand New will be released on September 26, 2022.
