Sofia Coppola Creates Movies About Priscilla Totaling, Jacob Elordi Becomes Elvis

JAKARTA - The figure of Elvis totaling is an iconic and worldwide musician. But behind him is a Priscilla mainstay - his partner who is no less iconic.

This inspired director Sofia Coppola to direct a film called Priscilla. Launching Variety, the cast Priscilla and Elvis have been found and production will soon be carried out.

Jacob Elordi will play Elvis left behind, while Cailee Spaeny becomes Priscilla mediate - the main subject of this film.

Elordi is known about filming his latest film Saltburn after successfully playing a role in the Euphoria series. While Cailee Spaeny is busy with the film Civil War.

Reportedly production will begin in Toronto in the coming fall. This film will be based on the memorandum of Elvis and Me written by Priscilla totaling in 1985. This book tells Priscilla's point of view when she first meets Elvis, marriage, to divorce and conflict between the two.

Priscilla's film is the third collaboration between Sofia Coppola and the production house A24. Previously he directed The Bling Ring (2013) and On the Rocks (2020).

Not only that, Sofia is also preparing for The Custom of the Country series through the same production house.

Of course, Sofia Coppola will present a different story from Elvis's biography, starring Austin Butler. The film features Olivia DeJonge as Priscilla totaling.

A24 also plans to broadcast Priscilla's film as a theater instead of streaming.
