JAKARTA - Actress Shenina Cinnamon admits that she is tired because her work in acting is seen based on the number of followers on social media. The actress who won the 2021 Indonesian Film Festival Citra Cup said that in the entertainment industry including films, popular validation is really needed.

According to him, some production houses sometimes make player selection based on the number of followers on social media. "When casting usually has to fill in bio (biodata) and there is the name IG (Instagram) and the number of followers, it applies to work, friendship," said Shenina, quoted from ANTARA, Tuesday, September 6.

"When a friend can also be like being asked what your user name is and when you know a lot of followers, that person can be different the next day, when we know how many followers we have," he said.

For Shenina, this is quite tiring because it cannot be yourself on social media.
