Playing In Miracle In Cell No. 7, Vino G. Bastian Ready To Match With South Korean Version

JAKARTA - Vino G. Bastian plays Dodo Rozak in the film Miracle in Cell No. 7 Indonesia. As a remake of the most popular film, he felt challenged to be involved in the film directed by Hanung Bramantyo.

"A father is not all like a mother who expresses her love verbally, but she is more apart from her child. That's what we really want to make through this film," said Vino G. Bastian at a press conference on Wednesday, August 31.

According to him, this film has a love value that is expected to reach the audience. He also admitted that he cried when he watched the film Miracle in Cell No. 7 the original version.

When he received an offer as the main character, Vino did not refuse that there was a burden that he was carrying in order to perform better than the original version. However, he is ready if he has to be compared or juxtaposed with Lee Hwan Kyung's version.

"But from there it actually strengthens the players. In fact, we have to have a burden, if we don't have the burden, we will shoot it as we please," he explained.

"Because we know this will be compared, so we give the best. We work hard, each character looks for their own approach. God willing, we will give the best for this film," added Vino G. Bastian.

Miracle in Cell No. 7 tells the story of Dodo Rozak, a father with disabilities. He lives with his son Kartika (Graciella Abigail. An incident changes the fate of Dodo and separates him from his baby.

The film Miracle in Cell No. 7 will be released in Indonesian cinemas starting September 8.
