Kim Soo Hyun's Appearance In Crash Landing On You Shocked The Audience

JAKARTA - Kim Soo Hyun's special appearance in the Korean drama Crash Landing on You earned praise. Even though he only appeared as a cameo, this is his first comeback in a Korean drama.

Previously, Kim Soo Hyun confirmed his special appearance in the tvN network drama due to his long relationship with screenwriter Park Ji Eun. The two of them have worked together on My Love From the Star (SBS) and Producer (KBS 2TV).

In the episode 10, January 19, epilogue, Crash Landing on You, Kim Soo Hyun makes a brief appearance as his character, Won Ryu Hwan from the film Secretly, Greatly which was released seven years ago.

In the film, Won Ryu Hwan (known as Bang Dong Goo in South Korea) is a North Korean spy who is deployed to South Korea.

Meanwhile in Crash Landing on You, Won Ryu Hwan advises five North Korean agents; Pyo Chi Soo (Yang Kyung Won), Park Kwang Beom (Lee Sin Young), Kim Joo Meok (Yoo Su Bin), Geum Eun Dong (Tang Joon Sang), and Jung Man Bok (Kim Young Min) who came to get Ri Jung Hyuk (Hyun Bin).

He told them, “This (South Korea) is a place where people live (live) too. Do not be afraid."

The production crew thanked Kim Soo Hyun for filming his role professionally and added that the atmosphere during filming was warm and welcoming.

Actor Tang Joon Sang also posted their photos on his Instagram Story. In the photo, Kim Soo Hyun is posing cute in Won Ryu Hwan's signature green training suit. The five actors from Crash Landing on You surrounded him with positive energy.

Crash Landing on You airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9 pm South Korean time. Apart from airing on tvN, this drama is also released globally on Netflix.
