Film 12 Stories Glen Anggara (Falcon Pictures)

JAKARTA - The film 12 stories of Glen Anggara is scheduled to be released on August 18, 2022. The film, co-produced by Falcon Pictures and Kharisma Starvision Plus, was written by Alim Sudio, based on the novel of the same name by Luluk HF which became the spin off of the film Mariposa (2020).

This film tells the story of Glen Anggara (played by Junior Roberts) who has an almost perfect life: handsome, smart, and rich. There is one thing missing in his life, no ideals.

His life changes when he meets his senior in high school, Shena (played by Prilly Latuconsina). Shena suddenly expressed her desire to be Glen's girlfriend.

Turns out, Shena's life will be sentenced soon because she has kidney failure and has to do dialysis twice a week. Before she died, Shena had 12 wishes that she really wanted to fulfill with her boyfriend.

At first glance the story of this film shows the love story of ordinary teenagers. Two people who make love, strengthen each other, are also looking for the meaning of love itself.

Junior and Prilly showed their togetherness naturally, starting from feeling awkward to finally comfortable being caught on camera well. The audience's emotions are invited to rise slowly so that at its peak it feels a sense of loss that breaks the heart.

Esemble Angga Yunanda, Adhisty Zara, Dannia Salsabilla, Abun Sungkar, and Junior Roberts as friends of Mariposa also complete the story. They appear as a spice to the story of friendship. Angga and Zara are not shown to stand out and provide the right space for Prilly and Junior.

Even so, the thickness of the friendship provided the ice breaking of Glen and Shena's romance. They are here to add comedy and emotion.

What cannot be taken lightly is the emergence of supportive parental characters. Forget the love story that is hindered by wealth, forget the grumbling parents, 12 Anggara Stories provide positive vibes for parenting.

How can parents be friends with children? It doesn't require much, but it also gives clear directions. 12 Anggara's story is not just a film about teenage love, but also a film full of meaning and warmth. Not only offering sorrow and tears, but inviting the audience to make the best choices in every sad event.

The drama story that Fajar Bustomi offers may not provide a grandiose picture. Not a lot of camera tricks or great shooting angles. However, it is this habit that makes this story easy to touch the hearts of the audience, because it is not far from everyday life.

Even though it's not as royal as the previous Starvison drama films, two more prominent OSTs are placed in the right places, such as adding a bonus when watching the 12 Story Anggara movie.
