Starring Ryu Jun Yeol Cs, Alienoid Will Air In Indonesia July 27

JAKARTA - The science fiction film from South Korea, Alienoid is confirmed to be showing in Indonesian cinemas. CBI Pictures as the official distributor announced this good news through social media.

“This year's Korean action blockbuster by director Choi Dong Hoon (The Thieves and Assassination). Alienoid airs July 27, 2022," wrote the CBI Pictures account today, Tuesday, July 5.

Alienoid is a two-part film that tells the story of a time when a portal opens and connects people from the Goryeo dynasty with people in 2022. They are looking for alien prisoners imprisoned in human bodies.

A series of famous South Korean actors and actresses starred in this film, namely Ryu Jun Yeol, Kim Woo Bin, Kim Tae Ri, So Ji Sub, Honey Lee, Yeom Jung Ah, Jo Woo Jin, Kim Eui Sung, Shin Jung Geum, and Lee Si Hoon.

Moo Reuk (Ryu Jun Yeol) is a Taoist who picks up a mysterious sword in the Goryeo era. The guard (Kim Woo Bin) tries to find an alien prisoner and Lee Ahn (Kim Tae Ri) is the woman who shoots lightning.

Alienoid is Choi Dong Hoon's return after Assassination in 2015. This is his first experience directing a science fiction genre film.

This film is also special because it brings together Ryu Jun Yeol and Kim Tae Ri after Little Forest (2018). On the other hand, Kim Woo Bin will show his acting in a big screen format after recovering from cancer.

The first part of Alienoid will premiere in Indonesian cinemas starting July 27, 2022.
