Honestly, Ringgo Agus Rahman Can't Match Abah's Lifestyle In The Cemara Family Film

JAKARTA - Ringgo Agus Rahman has succeeded in portraying the character of Abah in the film Keluarga Cemara 2. However, he refuses if his dress style is equated with Abah.

"I will never combine leather sandals with material pants. I put my clothes in and comb my hair neatly, don't go ahead," said Ringgo in a release received by VOI, Tuesday, June 15.

An aged male figure with an impressive dress style for Ringgo is a rock musician, songwriter, producer and actor of American descent, Lenny Kravitz, although he himself has no interest in imitating him.

Abah's character, who is patient, wise and considerate, makes Ringgo secretly admire Abah's calmness and admits that he can't be as patient as Abah. However, when asked to dress like Abah, Ringgo admitted that he was not interested and appointed Lenny Kravitz as an idol.

On various occasions, from photo shoots for British Vogue to the 2022 Grammy Awards, Lenny looks casual by combining a touch of denim, leather and ripped jeans for her appearance.

Apart from that, Lenny also often appears in the media using eccentric fashion items, such as wearing a velvet vest or leopard motif clothing.

"I've always liked the rock star style of dress. Cool! Even if it doesn't suit me, yes. For example, Lenny Kravitz, he's old and still really cool."

Relying on shorts for his casual everyday appearance, Ringgo also likes to combine short-sleeved shirts with material pants.

"If you are always comfortable with activities in short pants. When you need to come to a formal event, just wear a short-sleeved shirt combined with material pants," said Ringgo.

One fashion item that she cannot wear in Indonesia is a suit.

"I've never been in Indonesia to feel comfortable wearing a suit. Because we live in a tropical country, we feel hot and sweaty."

Talking about Abah's character, Ringgo joked that the fictional character's condition was inversely proportional to his real life. In the big screen adaptation of the hit television series many years ago, Abah is the only man in the family. He was surrounded by his wife and daughters. Meanwhile, Ringgo has two sons in real life.

"Because in my family it's actually my wife who is surrounded by men, I realized that we shouldn't think that the head of the family means everything. In the first Cemara Family, Abah put all responsibilities on the head of the family, in the Cemara 2 Family, Abah realized that equality is important to apply in the household," said Ringgo Agus Rahman.
