Kalina Oktarani Calls News Of Azka Corbuzier Converting To Religion Hoax: I Asked Azka, He Answered No

JAKARTA - Azka Corbuzier is reported to have converted to Islam. This news was shared by Gus Miftah. He said Deddy Corbuzier's son moved in last May.

This claim was denied by Kalina Oktarani, Azka's mother. He admitted that he had spoken to Azka and the child said the news was not true or a hoax.

Furthermore, Kalina feels that she has no right to regulate her child's beliefs. However, he does not deny that he will be grateful if Azka later chooses to convert to Islam.

“As a parent, you definitely want to be of the same religion as your child. But I'm personally not the type of person who doesn't want to force my child to be of the same religion as me,” Kalina Oktarani quoted StarPro as saying.

"I think religion is a personal thing. I know the feeling of being forced is not good and so is the understanding of faith," he continued.

Unlike Gus Miftah, Kalina is reluctant to talk about converting to Islam to Azka. He wanted Azka to focus on his choice without being forced by others.

"If he really sticks with his belief, I will be grateful too. Why? Because all religions actually teach good things, but the method is different,” explained Kalina Oktarani.

"I asked Azka "Mama read the news (about changing religions) and then Azka answered "No, I don't" if he intended like that, I would know," he said.

Previously, Gus Miftah stated that Azka Corbuzier had plans to convert. Even though Azka himself has never made a statement like Gus Miftah said.

"It seems that Azka is already settled (converted to Islam). That's why I asked the congregation in front of the congregation to ask for prayer so that God would immediately open his guidance for Azka," said Gus Miftah some time ago.
