JAKARTA - The film Satria Dewa: Gatotkaca features many exciting action scenes using various weapons. However, there is no blood that appears in every action scene. Director Hanung Bramantyo gave an explanation.

The bloody scene was apparently revised to get the all-age censorship pass label. Hanung imitates Hollywood superhero films that do not show bloody sadistic scenes so that children can watch them.

"If you look at the scenes in Hollywood superhero films, there is no blood. Spiderman also has no blood. There is also a scene where blood should appear. But in the end it was cut, the blood was not shown," explained Hanung some time ago.

Hanung Bramantyo also had to be willing to throw away Rizky Nazar's kissing scene. Because the scene caused the film Satria Dewa: Gatotkaca to be censored for 17 years and over.

"The kissing scene is missing, right. Because the scene is 17+, it was discarded. Besides that, the battle scene between Yayan Ruhian and Cecep Arif Rahman must also be accelerated. Even though it was originally 20 minutes," said Hanung.

Initially, because there was a fierce battle scene, the film Satria Dewa: Gatotkaca got a 13 year label. "I ask for help to keep it alive, because this is also a film for gentlemen. So they can't be entertained. That's why it's trimmed, so it's expedited," Hanung continued.
