Bullying Case Ends, Ex APRIL's Naeun Joins Namoo Actors Agency

JAKARTA - A former member of the APRIL group, Lee Naeun has officially joined the Namoo Actors agency. This news was confirmed by the agency that houses a number of famous South Korean actors and actresses.

Previously this news had circulated on the internet after the agency CEO followed Naeun's Instagram account. But at that time Namoo Actors did not confirm the news of the actress.

"It's true that Lee Naeun signed an exclusive contract with Namoo Actors," said Namoo Actors on Thursday, June 2.

Lee Naeun became a vortex of controversy when she was involved in a bullying case against another former APRIL member, Hyunjoo. He is also known as a perpetrator of school violence.

Due to this news, Naeun left the production of the drama Taxi Driver and several other programs. Lee Naeun denied that she had ever been a bully and this was confirmed by the DSP Media agency.

After being found not guilty, DSP Media disbanded APRIL and Lee Naeun left the agency. Lee Naeun also dropped the lawsuit against the perpetrator who spread false rumors about bullying.

Outside of APRIL's career, Lee Naeun starred in dramas Extraordinary You and Hip Hop King. Now, she is preparing to continue her acting career as an actress under the Namoo Actors agency.
