Being Husband And Wife In Bitter Coffee Film, Mahalini And Nuca It's Hard To Hold Back Laughter

JAKARTA - The film Kopi Pahit has been showing on KlikFilm since May 20, 2022. In this film, Mahalini and Raja Giannuca again show their acting talent, they compete to act as a husband and wife.

The director of the film Kopi Pahit, Herwin Novianto revealed, the challenges when working on this film. "My challenge in this film, is how to work on it so that the audience can feel what is in this film. So, apart from the pictures, I also play with the emotions of the players," he said at the Virtual Gala Premiere, Friday, May 20.

Receiving an offer to play in the film Kopi Pahit, Mahalini admitted that everything was intended to increase his acting experience. "This is to increase my knowledge and insight into acting. I have never played a character like in this film," he said.

He also told an interesting experience while playing in the film Kopi Pahit. "So at that time, we had an angry scene. But our co-star was wearing a helmet with a camera, and it looked funny. So, we had to have an angry scene, while holding back laughter," he said.

The same thing was also conveyed by Nuca, who admitted that he had difficulty doing the scene. "The helmet with the camera weighs about 20 kilos. So I have to focus on how the picture is good, and acting. Besides, we are alone in the room. So it really drains concentration. I want to act angry but hold back the feeling of laughing," he explained.
