JAKARTA - A series of the latest Korean dramas are ready to accompany you in May. As usual, various genres are presented to attract the masses of fans.

HIGHLIGHT's Dojoon returns to acting in the latest drama after completing his military service. In addition, there is Ji Chang Wook who is challenged to become a magician in the Netflix series, The Sound of Magic.

Interestingly, Im Soo Hyang's two newest projects will air this month. Here are the 8 newest Korean dramas that will air in May 2022:

Bloody Heart

Lee Tae's father (Lee Joon) overthrows a king with the help of Park Gye Won (Jang Hyuk) and becomes a king. Surely in the future, Lee Tae will become the heir to the kingdom and make him believe all actions can be justified.

Yoo Jung (Kang Han Na) is the son of a noble family. Lee Tae regards Yoo Jung as his wife but this leads to a royal conflict. Bloody Heart will premiere on May 2 via KBS2 and Disney+ Hotstar.

There is No Goo Pil-Sooo

This drama tells the story of two men who are 20 years apart: Goo Pil Soo who is 40 years old (Kwak Do Won) and Jung Seok (Yoon Doo Joon) who is still in his 20s.

Goo Pil Soo is a former boxer who now works odd jobs. In his 40s, he ran a bar and focused on his family. Goo Pil Soo still has dreams of success.

Jung Seok (Yoon Doo Joon) is the son of a poor family and lives in the suburbs. After entering a top university in Seoul, Jung Seok struggles as a start-up founder to achieve success. There is No Go Pil Soo airs from May 4.

The Sound of Magic

Yoon Ah Yi (Choi Sung Eun), a girl who is experiencing the pressures of life and has to give up her dreams one by one. Na Il Deung (Hwang In Yeop), Yoon Ah Yi's rival at school who is also smart but gets a lot of demands.

One day, they meet a mysterious magician named Rieul (Ji Chang Wook). Rieul's figure became something new in the lives of both of them. The Sound of Magic will release on May 6 on Netflix.

Woori The Virgin

This drama is adapted from the successful Jane The Virgin series in the United States. Oh Woo Ri (Im Soo Hyang) works as an assistant drama writer. He has a principle to keep his virginity until marriage. This is accepted by his lover, Lee Gang Jae (Shin Dong Wook).

One day, Oh Woo Ri goes to the OBGYN for a check-up and the doctor says that Woo Ri is pregnant. Due to a mistake, the baby's father is Raphael (Sung Hoon), a CEO. Woori The Virgin will air on SBS and VIU starting May 9.

Rose Mansion

Ji Na (Lim Ji Yeon) is a contract employee at a hotel. One day she hears that her older sister has disappeared and Ji Na decides to go to the Rose Mansion, where her parents live.

Ji Na is confronted with a number of neighbors who make her distrustful. He is assisted by detective Min Soo (Yoon Gyun Sang) who is looking for the truth behind his brother's disappearance. Rose Mansion will air from May 13.

An incident brought together Ye Sool who accidentally kissed Min Hu's neck. He also sees his future with Min Hu. Kiss Sixth Sense will be out on May 25 on Disney+ Hotstar.

Doctor Lawyer

Han Yi Han (So Ji Sub) is a top doctor and has two specialists. But his world changed after the patient he was treating died. Four years later, Han Yi Han works as a lawyer in the medical litigation department.

Han Yi Han suspected that something was hidden from the patient incident. He teams up with a prosecutor who lost his family members because of Han Yi Han. Doctor Lawyer will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar starting May 27.
