OST Of Korean Drama Our Blues Sung By Jimin BTS Breaks ITunes Record

JAKARTA - The collaboration song between BTS' Jimin and idol singer Ha Sung-woon, With You, topped iTunes' top 100 charts just four hours after the song was released.

According to The Korea Herald, the achievement is a record for a solo K-pop artist and an original soundtrack for a drama, according to producer Nyamnyam Entertainment. In Japan, the song took first place in 47 minutes.

With You, was used as the theme song for the drama Our Blues, as well as Jimin's first work for the drama soundtrack. The song also ranked at number five on Spotify's global charts and garnered more than 2.6 million streams on the platform.

Meanwhile, BTS recorded a new achievement through the music video titled Boy With Luv (feat. Halsey) which surpassed 1.5 billion views on YouTube last week. Boy With Luv's song has also been ranked 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 and lasted for eight weeks in a row.

The Korean drama Our Blues is full of top Korean stars such as Lee Byung-hun, Shin Min-a, Cha Seung-won, Lee Jung-eun, Han Ji-min, Kim Woo-bin, and Uhm Jung-hwa. This 20-episode drama tells the story of the bittersweet love and ups and downs of the life of a group of people who live and work on Jeju Island.

Unlike the usual dramas that only have the story of the main player, each player in Our Blues has their own story and there are parts where they take turns being the main players.
