JAKARTA - A Playboy model claims the police failed to investigate the threat of rape because she worked in the adult industry

Germaine Love, 34, who also runs the bar, got an Instagram message saying: "I'm going to walk into your bar and drag you out by pulling your hair, down a dark alley and then start raping you."

He called Cleveland Police. However, the police have only advised that Germaine's social media - which is used for his bar and adult career - use private suits.

In a voice message, an officer said Germaine's reports would be recorded as "malicious communications". Only that.

Malicious communications are where someone sends letters or other forms of communication that are obscene or highly offensive, threatening, or contain information that is false or believed to be false. The purpose of sending is to cause distress or anxiety to the person being sent.

"Since I work in the adult industry, is that why they don't take him seriously? Is the only way I can find out who he is when he drags me down an alley?" The woman from Guisborough, North Yorks told the Daily Star, Thursday, October 8.

Germaine emphasized that if someone threatens to rape a woman, especially when he has concrete evidence and the ability to arrest them, that woman needs more support. Instead of just being told to act as a victim and shut down all (social media) that he had built so hard.

"Surely they can track it and why should I shut down my social media, not advertise myself as a model, not advertise my bar?"

A Cleveland Police spokesperson said: "Initially the call (from Germaine) was recorded as malicious communication and we tried and spoke with the woman to further discuss her call and our response to it.

“A senior officer is examining the complaint and if there is a problem with how the initial contact is handled this will be fixed.

"Our environmental officers will also contact the woman to discuss her concerns."
