JAKARTA - Weekly Shonen Jump publisher announced that Eiichiro Oda's One Piece manga will be on hiatus for two weeks. As a result, a new chapter of the adventures of Luffy and the Straw Hat pirates will not appear in issues 44 and 45 of Jump Magazine.

Through the MANGA Plus website, the new One Piece comic will return to its 46th edition, which was published on Friday 16 October. The term hiatus or the rest of the manga chapters is fairly routine, to maintain the cartoonist's health.

Even though Oda wants to be able to finish the 1,000th chapter of the One Piece manga before the end of 2020. However, it seems that the publisher does not want to burden the health of the creator Luffy and his friends, if he continues to draw with such a target.
