Lawyer Rhea Chakraborty Affirms There Is No Evidence Of Other People Consuming Drugs Apart From Sushant Rajput

JAKARTA - The All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) has submitted a forensic report on the body of Sushant Singh Rajput to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The allegations by the late actor's family about the presence of organic poison in his body are not proven.

Forensic experts met with the CBI team investigating the case and submitted the report on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Bombay High Court heard bail applications from actress Rhea Chakraborty, her sister Showik, and others.

The AIIMS forensic team has reanalyzed Cooper Hospital's post-mortem reports and viscera (internal organs). Now the CBI team will examine all the findings and conclude the case.

However, CBI has not ruled out any aspect of the case to date. Sources say that the DNA samples collected from Sushant's body and those from the crime scene also match.

Meanwhile, attorney general Anil Singh, who represents the Indian Narcotics Agency (NCB), is against bail requests from all the defendants. He said that Article 27A applies because the suspect is involved in trafficking and financing drugs.

He also said that this was worse than murder or murder that was wrongly referred to in the Supreme Court's interpretation.

Talking about the application of article 27A, Singh said that the amount of drugs is irrelevant, but whether the person is directly or indirectly involved in financing illicit drug trafficking.

“People who should be role models feel there is nothing wrong with taking drugs. We will explore this issue to end this drug abuse, "he said in court quoted by MID-DAY, Wednesday, September 30.

When listening to bail applications, the court observed, “Saving only applies if a person is involved in drug trafficking. If someone is a drug addict and only consumes it, then that will not mean hiding under article 27A. " However, the court added that this was just a preliminary observation.

Sushant Is The Only Customer

Attorney Satish Maneshinde told the court, “Sushant is the only customer in this case. NCB has no evidence of other people consuming it.

"If Sushant is still alive today, he will be detained under article 20 of the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (NDPS). He will then claim rehabilitation immunity and get away with very little punishment. Then how can Rhea and Showik be punished under the article. 27A? "

The lawyers of Samuel Miranda and Deepesh Sawant argued that both of his clients were Sushant's servants and that contraband was bought for him and his friends. He emphasized that these items were not sold to them.
