Keith Martin Dies In The Philippines, Here's A List Of His Romantic Songs

JAKARTA - American R&B singer-songwriter Keith Eric Martin has died at the age of 55, when his body was found at his residence in Libis, Quezon, Philippines, Star Cinema reported on Friday.

Many celebrities expressed their condolences for the passing of the singer of the hit song titled "Because of You".

Filipino singer and actress Sheree Bautista has made a series of posts about Keith Martin. Through her YouTube channel, she performs the song "Heaven Knows" which Keith wrote for her. While Thyro Alfaro said that he would never forget Keith's words which were very inspiring for him.

R&B singer Kris Lawrence also regrets the departure of Keith Martin, who has been his inspiration in the music industry.

"This news is shocking. Keith Eric Martin left too soon. You will be missed. The music you made will live on in our hearts forever," said Kris Lawrence, quoted from MGA Entertainment, Friday, March 26.

Some of his songs are also still played frequently to this day, including the songs "Never Find Someone Like You", "Why Can't It Be", and "Forever Will Be". He then achieved great success through the song "Because of You".

For the past few years, Keith Martin has lived in the Philippines. He has consistently collaborated with local artists such as Jinky Vidal, Sheree Bautista, and Luke Mirajes.
