JAKARTA - The death metal band from Medan, DJIN, released a new album titled The Science of Thought on February 22.
The album is available in audio CD format which is also distributed across digital platforms. A single titled Minds of The Problematic was released in a lyric video format via the YouTube channel of Blackandje Records label.
In the album The Science of Thought, DJIN provides a different presentation compared to the previous album without losing the true character of their music.
However, in terms of arrangement, DJIN made significant musical changes by paying close attention to the rhythm count, pattern, and lyric writing theory to fuse vocals with the rhythm itself.
All compositions and arrangements in this album were done by guitarist David Salim who also acts as a producer.
"Drums and bass are relatively close together for the rhythm section as an umbrella for low frequencies by kick and bass," said David in an official statement received by VOI, Sunday, March 6.
