Supported By Politicians, Kanye West Criticizes Kim Kardashian About Their Children's Social Media Account

JAKARTA - Kanye West's scathing criticism of Kim Kardashian, for allowing their 8-year-old son North West, to have a TikTok account, was backed by Candace Owens. Candace is one of the leading politicians and activists from the United States from the Republican Party who is pro-Donald Trump.

"Kim is wrong this time. The psychological effect of social media on girls is real and there is documentation. Actually Kanye is trying to protect his daughter, but Kim thinks it is an obsession and an attempt to control," Candace wrote via her Twitter account @realcandaceO on February 5 2022.

"There is no 8-year-old child in the world who needs social media," he added.

Knowing that he got support from someone who was respected and very active in social activities, Kanye immediately uploaded a screenshot of Candace's tweet to his Instagram @kanyewest.

"Thank you Candace for being the only influential person to talk about this. Many celebrities are afraid to say something to the public but they privately messaged me and said they were on my side," wrote Kanye.

As is known, Kim filed for divorce from Kanye in February 2021 which was reportedly caused by the 44-year-old rapper's annoying behavior while being interviewed and on social media. Even though it's been almost a year in the process of separating, but both still seem to leave feelings of resentment.

Most recently, Kanye vented his frustration with Kim by re-uploading his TikTok North account to his Instagram Stories on February 3, 2022 with the caption, "Since this is my first divorce, I need to know what to do about my son using TikTok against his will. I?" Kanye wrote.

Feeling displeased with criticism from his future ex-husband, Kim immediately responded via Instagram @kimkardashian by stating that TikTok is only a space for expression and is always under adult supervision. "I did my best to protect our daughter and also allow her to express her creativity in the medium she wants with adult supervision, because it brings her happiness," said Kim.

Currently, Kanye West is in a relationship with actress Julia Fox while Kim has started dating comedian Pete Davidson.
