Confess Wrong, Oki Setiana Dewi: Sorry To Be Born And Inner

JAKARTA - Oki Setiana Dewi, finally opened her voice about the viral part of her lecture video because it was considered trivializing domestic violence (KDRT). He revealed this through his Instagram account @okisetianadewi, Friday, February 4, 2022, including a video clip of his longer lecture.

The video shows that the lecture took place about 2 years ago at the Al-Muhajirin Mosque, Magelang, Central Java. Not to forget, Oki also emphasized that he also rejects domestic violence.

"Assalamu'alaikum all friends, yesterday I received a message from some friends about a snippet of my lecture 2 or 3 years ago. Above is a longer version of the video," he said. "Thank you for your attention and affection. Of course I strongly reject violence in household. Sorry to be born and inner heart for the error in conveying and may Allah forgive me in every of my mistakes, "he added.

Oki hopes that in the future he can deliver his da'wah better and continue to learn and be open to getting guidance from all parties.

"Please pray that Allah will guide every word so that in the future it will bring benefits. God willing, I will continue to learn, improve myself and deliver better in the future. Also ask for guidance from all of my friends," he wrote.

Previously, Oki became trending in cyberspace after the video lecture section was deemed to have underestimated domestic violence.

“There is a true story in Jeddah, a husband and wife were fighting. The husband was very angry at his wife and then the wife was beaten in the face. Then his wife wept. Suddenly the doorbell rang and it turned out that his wife's mother had come. Her husband from a distance was excited, afraid that his wife would complain. Oh God, my wife must have complained to my mother-in-law that she had been beaten. So there is no need for stories that might make us vilify our partners," said Oki Setiana Dewi in the video.
