JAKARTA - Megawati Soekarnoputri and President Joko Widodo provided assistance to Dorce Gamalama. This can be seen in Dorce Gamalama's Instagram. Dorce Gamalama thanked Megawati for getting Megawati's attention.

"Assalamualaikum to Mrs. Megawati who has contributed to me, may Allah give mercy to mother, may mother stay healthy, live long and always be blessed," said Dorce Gamalama on his Instagram.

Many netizens were curious about the amount of help Dorce received. In the Denny Sumargo podcast, Dorce revealed that he received financial assistance from Jokowi and Megawati.

Dorce also revealed the nominal amount of funds given by these two important people in Indonesia. "Megawati gave Rp150 (million) and Jokowi gave Rp200 (million), Alhamdulillah," said Dorc, quoted Monday, January 24.

Dorce doesn't want to be called a beggar when trying to pay for his treatment. "It's just that I'm not the one begging, 'Sir, give me money, sir', it's not like that, just because I was given it, I accepted it," he continued.

Although the nominal is quite large, Dorce admits that the money is not enough to pay for his medical expenses. "It's not enough, I can't walk yet, I want to walk. I don't want to sit in a wheelchair, I want to be able to walk again. I want to be able to walk, come back (healthy), but I leave everything to God, if God really gives me pain , it's all right, said Dorce Gamalama.
