JAKARTA - The latest film directed by Jeihan Angga, Just Mom, has revealed a new poster and trailer. Just Mom tells the story of Siti (Christine Hakim), a mother who misses her children who don't live with her.
One day, Siti meets an ODGJ, Murni (Ayushita W. Nugraha) who brings a new color to her life.
The two-minute trailer shows the dynamics between Siti in her own time and when she meets Murni. Siti also rarely daydreams because she always works with Murni, but on the other hand, their interactions worry Siti's three children.
"This film is a personal film because we collectively collect all experiences with their respective mothers," said Hanung Bramantyo as producer.
“So my hope is that when everyone has finished watching the film, everyone will immediately want to contact their mother. That's the goal." he said again.
The new poster released on Thursday, January 13th shows the colorful nuances of the film Just Mom. Of course this is different from the first poster which showed Christine Hakim alone.
“The first time I published this poster, I thought it was a film about Mother waiting for Laundry. Because I was frustrated, I finally asked my poster designer @alvinhariz to make a new one. Be the second slide," said Hanung Bramantyo about the new poster on his Instagram.
The family film Just Mom directed by Jeihan Angga will be shown in Indonesian cinemas starting January 27. Check out the first trailer below:
