JAKARTA - Former member of the VIXX group, Hongbin is carrying out military service. This announcement was made during the Twitch streaming session last week.
Today, Tuesday, Hongbin wrote several sentences that he uploaded in the community column on his Twitch profile. He said things that previously could not be said.
"The process of enlisting and working to reach the discharge date starts today, but I think it is time to settle something that is weighing on my mind, so a part of me feels free," said Hongbin.
He promised he would carry out compulsory military service and protect the country well. Although he feels that interaction with fans is considered small, he feels happy with everything he does.
"I may change after I get back from the military but I will go and come back smiling, always thinking about wanting to come back happy and talk back," said The Smile Has Left Your Eyes cast.
Previously, Jellyfish Entertainment announced Hongbin 's departure from VIXX. This culminated after he shocked the public by making comments about other K-pop groups.

Even though he has apologized, the public still regrets the comments he made, especially since the VIXX group is known to be close to SHINee and INFINITE.
In early August, Jellyfish stated that Hongbin had opted out of VIXX so that the group would promote with only 5 members.
