JAKARTA - The latest film of Lady Gaga and Adam Driver, House of Gucci will be released in Indonesia. This announcement was made by the distributor Universal Pictures Indonesia through their social media.

Wednesday, December 1st, the official account @UIPMoviesID wrote, “The Gucci family has everything. He wanted more. #HouseOfGucci stars @LadyGaga, Adam Driver, @JaredLeto, Jeremy Irons, Al Pacino and directed by Ridley Scott."

Different from previous Hollywood film releases, this time the screening of the film House of Gucci counted one month after its release in the United States.

House of Gucci is a film that tells the story of Patrizia Reggiani, played by Lady Gaga. The story focuses on the assassination plot that was planned by Patrizia to Maurizio Gucci, which was played by Adam Driver.

This story is an adaptation of Sara Gay Forden's book House of Gucci, A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamor, and Greed. The original incident took place in 1995.

Although it was well received, the House of Gucci drew protests from the Gucci fashion brand family. Aldo Gucci as the heir of Gucci said this film deliberately took a bad story about family.

Aldo even claimed that the House of Gucci story was inaccurate and tarnished Gucci's reputation. He said the production did not consult so that the image of the Gucci family did not look like the protagonist. The film House of Gucci will be screened in Indonesian cinemas starting December 17.
