PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Regional Operation 7 Madiun has disbursed a Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program assistance of IDR 57.5 million to support the acceleration of stunting reduction in the Madiun Regency area.
KAI Daop 7 Madiun Public Relations Manager Tohari said the assistance was symbolically handed over by the KAI Daop 7 Madiun TJSL team to the Regent of Madiun Hari Wuryanto and was witnessed by the Deputy Regent of Madiun Purnomo Hadi, as well as the ranks of the Madiun Regency Forkopimda at Babadan Station.
"This program is packaged under the title 'KAI Sehat Sejahtera' as a manifestation of KAI's concern for the health and quality of the growth and development of children around the company's operational area, one of which is in Madiun Regency," said Tohari in Madiun, East Java, Monday.
The assistance distributed was in the form of nutritional intake worth Rp57.5 million for children who were the target of the stunting treatment program in Madiun Regency. The assistance targeted 250 children spread across 30 stunting locus villages in seven sub-districts in Madiun Regency.
"With this support, it is hoped that it will help improve children's nutritional status and accelerate the reduction of stunting rates in the area," he said.
Tohari added that the distribution of assistance was part of the KAI Environmental Development Program which focuses on improving the welfare of the community, especially in the field of health.
