JAKARTA - Kim Kardashian revealed that he was diagnosed with brain aneurism. This was conveyed by Kim in the inaugural episode for the latest season of the reality show The Kardashians.

"There is such a small aneurism," said Kim Kardashian, quoted from Page Six, on Friday, October 24, 2025.

At the event, Kim also conveyed the stress and worries she felt during the diagnosis period, which caused her psoriasis to reappear. It is a chronic skin condition that she had previously controlled.

Meanwhile, after Kim Kardashian's confession, brain aneurism is now reaping the public spotlight. This condition occurs when blood vessels (artaries) swell into balloon-like shapes.

This is due to blood pressure stretching the walls of the arteries that are weak and thin. Aneurism can occur anywhere in the body, but most commonly occurs in the aorta (largest blood clots) or in the brain (called cerebal aneurysm).

Medical experts say that brain aneurism is relatively common, affecting about one in 50 people. This case is also often undetected and not all of those who suffer it require treatment.

"More generally than you might think," said neurosurgeon at Cleveland Clinic, Dr Nina Moore.

Brain aneurism is also more common in women, with the risk of increasing after menopause. Most brain aneurisms occur in adults aged 30 to 60 years, with various risk factors.

The most easily described risk factors include the predisposition (family aneurism history), high blood pressure, smoking, and inflammation,' said Dr Laura Stein, professor of neurology madya.

If a brain aneurism breaks, it can cause stroke, brain damage, coma, or even death. Broken brain aneurism can also cause tremendous pain in the head.
