JAKARTA - In children's growth and development, good physical stimulation and fulfillment of balanced nutrition are very important. With these two things, children can grow healthy as a whole.

One of the things that can be done to support physical stimulation and fulfillment of children's nutrition is to invite them to actively move and consume nutritious intake. Such as the educational competition for the PRIMAGRO Cermat Children's Movement Competition, organized by Frisian Flag in collaboration with HIMPAUDI.

The educational competition was held at 8 points in four cities, namely Jakarta, Cirebon, Bandung, and Garut. This involves more than 16 thousand PAUD and TK students, as well as active participation from teachers, parents, and the early childhood education community.

Research for the second South East Asian Nutrition Surveys (SEANUTS II), initiated by FrieslandCampina, found that the prevalence of malnutrition and anemies, especially among young children in Indonesia, was still high.

Some of Indonesia's children who are part of the Southeast Asian-scale research still lack the average intake of vitamins and nutrients recommended for healthy growth and development. Other studies also show that preschoolers (3-5 years old) need to move actively every day.

This condition requires more serious attention from various parties to increase access to greater balanced nutrition for children. Regular physical activity access is also needed so that children can achieve optimal growth and development.

Thus, the PRIMAGRO Cermat Children's Movement Competition not only invites children to move actively, but also provides educational activities about the importance of nutrition. Including higher DHA in supporting the development of the child's brain contained in Frisian Flag Primagro's milk.
