Jungkook BTS Reveals ADHD, What Are The Symptoms?

JAKARTA - Jungkook BTS suddenly stole the attention after admitting to having ADHD or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. ADHD is a mental health disorder that makes it difficult for sufferers to concentrate.

This was revealed by Jungkook during a live broadcast on his social media. During a live broadcast, he could not stop moving until he received comments from one of the fans.

After reading the comment, Jungkook suddenly revealed the reason that he could not stop moving because he had been suffering from ADHD disturbances.

"I keep moving? But, I really can't help it. I am an adult ADHD sufferer. I have it, I keep moving like this," said Jungkook, quoted from Soompi, on Monday, September 1, 2025.

As quoted from the Cleveland Clinic, it is difficult to remain silent and continue to move is indeed one of the symptoms of ADHD. People with ADHD find it difficult to control attention or direct focus on certain tasks, which make patients experience symptoms of difficulty focusing, difficulty sitting still, and umpulsive behavior.

Symptoms of ADHD are divided into two large groups, as follows:

- Symptoms of lack of attention. These symptoms affect the ability to focus on a task and complete it from start to finish. The sufferer may delay tasks that require focus, appear disturbed when a person talks, and often loses goods. - Symptoms of hyperactivity / impulsiveness. These symptoms affect the sufferer's ability to sit still or feel comfortable in one place. Sufferers may also find it difficult to wait their turn to talk or do something.

Meanwhile, symptoms of ADHD usually start as children, generally between the ages of 3 and 6, and can continue to adulthood. However, there were also some people who had just been diagnosed as adults.

ADHD cannot be fully cured. To deal with this disorder, treatment such as drugs and behavioral therapy is usually carried out to help control the symptoms.
