BMHS Group Mother Hospital Affirms Commitment To Leading Women And Children's Holistic Health Services

JAKARTA PT Bundamedik Tbk (BMHS - Bundamedik Healthcare System) reiterated its commitment as a pioneer and leader of holistic health service innovations including for the health of women and children in Indonesia. In the context of the 52nd Anniversary, BMHS again held an annual clinical breakthrough forum, which this time came with the title HealthConEx 2025 and was followed by thousands of multidisciplinary doctors, with the theme Empowering Futures: Stretching Health Outcomes for Women and Children.

This forum is a strategic and scientific forum to discuss sustainable service innovation while at the same time affirming the crucial role of women's and children's health as the foundation of the nation's family and future.

BMHS President Commissioner, Dr. dr. Ivan Rizal Sini, GDRM, MMIS, FRANKZCOG, Sp.OG said, as a pioneer of women's and children's health services for more than 52 years, BMHS not only focuses on medical services for Indonesian families, but also takes a strategic role in developing a comprehensive and sustainable health ecosystem.

"Through various approaches such as 1) a holistic Center of Excellence, ranging from fertility, pregnancy, childbirth, child growth and development to adult health services and the elderly, 2) health services with international accreditation and standardization, 3) and ensuring that every innovation such as robotic surgery, BMHS is committed to always answering the needs of current and future health services in a precise and efficient manner, as well as supporting Indonesia's health resilience," he said in the celebration of the 52nd Anniversary, BMHS.

In the midst of the crucial role of women and children as pillars of sustainable community development, health challenges such as the high mortality rate of mothers and children, complications of pregnancy, stunting, and reproductive health issues still require systemic and collaborative handling.

BMHS Independent Commissioner, Retno Marsudi said, the health of women and children cannot be seen from only sectoral glasses, but rather a strategic foundation for national development.

"The quality of future generations is strongly determined by how we maintain the health of mothers and children today. Therefore, equal, quality and sustainable access to services is key," he said.

As the leading health service institution, BMHS also helped build an ecosystem that supports national health resilience through the development of technology-based innovation, cross-sector collaboration, and social responsibility initiatives. This commitment was realized in a series of CSR programs (Corporate Social Responsibility - Social Responsibility of the Company) which reached 700+ mothers and children in 6 cities of the Bunda Group Hospital network at the momentum of the 52nd Anniversary of BMHS.

This program includes free mass circumcision for 300+ children from prosperous families, early detection education of cervical cancer and urine-based DNA HPV examination for 400+ mothers, as well as stunting prevention interventions in Bungus Village, Padang. BMHS not only acts as a service provider, but partners in building a fair and inclusive health system for all. Through a direct approach to communities such as CSR activities, BMHS emphasizes its role as a strategic partner in building an inclusive, sustainable health system, and has a long-term impact on the quality of the nation's next generation," concluded Retno.

Encourage Family Preventive Health Through HealthConEx 2025 And The Launch Of Homecare Mother

As part of the commitment to strengthen preventive health services for women and children, BMHS launched Bunda Homecare, a direct medical visit service to patients, which provides vaccinations and health checks. With the spirit of Vaccination & Wellness Anywhere & Anywhere, Mother Homecare is here as a solution for families and modern communities that prioritizes comfort, personal access, personalization of health services and early prevention efforts. This service will also be introduced to the public at the HealthConEx 2025 event. Mother Homecare is available on the BMHS hospital network, namely RSIA Bunda Jakarta, RSU Bunda Jakarta, Citra Harapan Hospital, and Bunda Margonda Hospital. Each visit will involve one general practitioner and one nurse with a standard service of the Bunda Group Hospital.

In this year's HealthConEx event, BMHS also held a series of activities such as scientific ceremonies with resource persons from professors and specialist doctors, health talks that were opened to the public to competitions in medical journals and scientific posters for health workers in the BMHS Group ecosystem.
