According to sexologist dr. Boyke Dian Nugraha, there are many factors that can cause this complaint to arise. dr. Boyke, the cause of itching can vary.

He explained that bacteria can appear especially after having unhealthy intercourse.

"The name is also an intimate area, that's why, for example, having sex with people who have gonore, syfilis, or trikomonizations. Of course, it can be transmitted to you. So why not have free sex," he said.

In addition to bacteria, fungal infection is also a common cause.

"For fungi, women are often infected because they are lazy to change their underwear. The area is damp, black, and it's very easy for fungi to develop. Finally, it enters the vagina and there is whiteness and itching," he explained.

Not only that, women are also more prone to itching during menstruation.

"All hormones are down, both estrogen and progesteron, as a result, menstruation occurs. In addition, the immune system decreases," said dr. Boyke.

Therefore, the use of sanitary napkins is very important.

"Don't wait for the full sanitary napkins to be replaced. Don't be stingy in maintaining the health of the intimate organs," he added.

To prevent this problem, the cleanliness of the intimate organs is the main thing.

"First, keep your female organs clean. Get the right ones, use clean water, not stagnant water. Both are drunk using antiseptics. You can also break it with spray," he suggested.

If traveling, dr. Boyke also recommends a practical solution.

"If it's far away, for example in rest areas or offices, just bring wet tissue and then spray it with antiseptic," he said.
