Study Reveals This Lack Makes Men More Active When Having Sex

JAKARTA - A study reveals a shortage of men that makes them more active during sexual intercourse. The shortfall relates to the man's appearance.

The study was conducted in Poland, involving 540 men. They were asked to assess the level of the woman's desire, from scale one to seven.

Quoted from the Daily Mail, on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, through this study researchers found that men who lacked confidence about their appearance tended to actively engage in sex activities that please their partners. One of them is by performing oral sex, namely sexual activity involving the mouth, lips, or tongue to provide ransang on the genitals of the partner.

"This means that the more negative a man views his own value than his partner, the greater the chance he is not only skilled but also enjoys oral sex," said study lead researcher Aleksandra Szymkow.

The man with a lack of confidence is said to tend to enjoy foreplay or warm-up sessions, which are designed to please a woman. This will make their partner satisfied and become proof that the man is romantic.

The researchers also cited the method as pair retention tactics'. This tactic is for men to prove to their partners their abilities, thereby reducing the possibility of infidelity or being left behind for more attractive men.

"If a man in a romantic relationship, the less confidence he puts in his partner, the more motivated they are to fight for satisfaction," he added.

However, researchers also highlighted that increasing a man's preference for actions to satisfy the woman is not proven to protect against damage to relationships. This is because a relationship is strongly established not only based on sexual satisfaction alone.
