JAKARTA - Sex is a physical interaction between two individuals involving sexual activity, both emotionally and physically. However, not all sex positions are created the same.

There is also a sex position that is at risk to cause injury. A recent study revealed that there are certain positions that have the potential to endanger both husband and wife.

Reporting from the Evoke page, according to Kristi Latham, a Physiciotherapy doctor and clinic founder Beyond Therapy & Wellness said the doggy style position could be very painful for women if not done properly.

"The vagina of a woman can be torn if her partner penetrates in the wrong way." he said in an interview with Yahoo! Health

Although this kind of injury can occur in various positions, doggy style is considered more dangerous, because women have less control, so the risk of injury increases. Not only women at risk, men can also suffer injuries due to this position.

According to a study published in the Journal of Impotence Research, doggy style is the most at risk of causing a broken penis. About 41% of the penis fracture cases observed in this study occurred while performing the position.

In addition, the missionary position that is often considered 'boring', can actually break the penis. A total of 25% cases of penises were broken due to this sex position.
