Colorectal Cancer Increases In The Young Generation, Low-Carbohydrate Diet Is The Trigger?

JAKARTA - Large colon cancer or colorectal in recent years is said to have been more and more suffered by the younger generation. This cancer is cancer that attacks the colon (colon) and rectum (lowest part of the intestine), and is often referred to as colon cancer.

Low diet carbohdrat thins the mucus layer in the large intestine that protects against microbes. This is an increase in inflammation in the intestines, which is the initial symptom of colorectal cancer.

"Researchers found that a low-carb diet paired with E. coli strains producing colibactins led to the development of colorectal cancer," said professor of colon and rectum surgery association in Houston's UTHEalth, wrong Cusick, MD.

"Inflammatory increases in the intestines, thinner mucus barriers, and higher prevalence of polyps, which are precursors to cancer," he added.

Therefore, it is recommended that people change their healthy diet and apply a suitable diet to minimize the occurrence of colorectal cancer.

It is highly recommended to diet by eating fibered foods such as vegetables, fruits, seeds, limiting processed foods and red meat, to exercising regularly.
