JAKARTA - PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI strengthens human resource development governance through the operation of the BNI Professional Certification Institute (LSP) licensed by the National Professional Certification Agency as well as the implementation of international standards at BNI Corporate University.

The strengthening was marked by the acquisition of the BNI LSP License Certificate from BNSP, ISO 21001:2018 Certificate, and Letter of Compliance ISO 30422:2022 by BNI Corporate University.

The three achievements were confirmed in a ceremony at the Grha BNI, Jakarta, on August 6, 2026. BNSP Chairman Syamsi Hari handed over the BNI LSP License Certificate to BNI Human Capital & Compliance Director Munadi Herlambang.

LSP BNI itself obtained a license from BNSP on June 19, 2026. With this license, LSP BNI can organize work competence certification in a professional, objective, independent, and accountable manner in accordance with applicable competence standards.

In the initial phase, LSP BNI provides seven certification schemes covering strategic areas, ranging from general banking to internal audit. The scope of certification will be expanded in accordance with industry developments, including in the areas of digital banking, artificial intelligence, risk management, and information technology.

Director of Human Capital & Compliance BNI Munadi Herlambang said that the existence of LSP is an important part of ensuring that the development of employee competencies is carried out in a measurable and relevant manner to the needs of the banking industry.

"LSP BNI is an important foundation in building competent human resources while strengthening corporate governance. Competency certification ensures that every BNI employee has a standard of professionalism that can support the transformation of the company's business," said Munadi in a written statement.

In addition to strengthening competency certification, BNI Corporate University obtained ISO 21001:2018 Certificate on May 15, 2026 and Letter of Compliance ISO 30422:2022 on August 4, 2026.

This recognition confirms the implementation of learning and talent development governance that is increasingly systematic, oriented towards the needs of learners, and refers to international best practices.

According to Munadi, BNI will continue to improve the quality and capacity of LSP so that it not only supports internal needs, but can also become one of the references in human resource development in the national banking industry.

The strengthening of the learning and certification ecosystem is in line with the direction of transformation of SOEs under the coordination of Danantara Indonesia which places people development, corporate culture, innovation, and value creation as an important part in building a healthier, more competitive, and globally competitive state-owned enterprise.

Through the strengthening of the learning system, competency certification, and the application of international standards, BNI strives to ensure that talent development is increasingly measurable, relevant to industry needs, and able to support business transformation and long-term value creation.
