This participation is part of the company's support for the Three Million House Program and expanding access for low-income people to decent housing.

The mass signing and key handover activities were held at Puri Delta City Side, Batang Regency, Central Java, Thursday (30/7/2026). A total of 200 debtors attended in person, while 62,510 other debtors participated in the activity online.

BNI is one of the distributing banks involved in providing subsidized housing financing for low-income people. BNI Commercial Banking Director Muhammad Iqbal said that this support is part of the company's commitment to providing inclusive financing solutions.

"BNI continues to support various priority government programs that have a real impact on the community. With the spirit of serving the country wholeheartedly, we want to expand public access to decent housing through the distribution of subsidized home mortgages," said Iqbal in a written statement.

According to him, the distribution of subsidized housing financing can also encourage the growth of the housing sector which has a multiplier effect on various economic activities.

In addition to the subsidized KPR contract, the activity also includes a mass contract for 200 debtors of the People's Housing Business Credit Program. In total, the value of the Housing KUR contract reached IDR 880 billion for 7,100 debtors.

The number consists of 6,873 debtors on the demand side or demand and 227 debtors on the supply side or supply. The program is aimed at strengthening the housing ecosystem, both from the perspective of people who need housing and business actors who support its provision.

A number of beneficiaries also followed the handover ceremony symbolically. One of them is Nilam Chya Ayu, a BNI customer who works at a shoe factory in Batang.

On the same occasion, the President had an online dialogue with Terry Alfrits Wagiu, a BNI customer who works as a journalist in Tomohon. Terry told his story of how he managed to have his first house after 14 years of marriage through BNI's subsidized mortgage facility.

Iqbal assessed that collaboration between the government, banks, developers, and other stakeholders is an important factor in accelerating the provision of houses for the community.

"BNI is optimistic that the synergy between the government, banks, developers, and all stakeholders will further accelerate the provision of decent housing for the community while also encouraging national economic growth," he said.

Through participation in the mass contract, BNI seeks to expand access to housing financing while supporting the formation of a more inclusive housing ecosystem. This step is part of the company's commitment to provide financial solutions that provide direct benefits to the community and support national development. (ADV)
