Shell Raises Solar Prices to Rp21,910 per Liter

JAKARTA - Shell Indonesia management announced that the price of gasoline fuel (BBM) type diesel oil rose from Rp21,340 per liter in July to Rp21,910 per liter starting August 1, 2026.

Through its official website accessed from Jakarta, Saturday, Shell Indonesia announced that Shell V-Power Diesel is available in a number of areas in Jakarta, Banten, West Java, and East Java.

The price of solar oil at Shell gas stations is in line with the world oil price, which has fluctuated due to the war between the United States (US) and Israel against Iran.

The price of solar, which was originally Rp14,620 per liter on March 1, 2026, jumped to Rp30,890 per liter in May, before falling to Rp24,490 per liter in June, and falling again to Rp21,340 per liter on July 1, 2026.

Meanwhile, for Shell Super, Shell V-Power, and Shell V-Power Nitro+ fuel types have not been available since the beginning of 2026.

Unlike Shell, PT Pertamina (Persero) announced that the prices of non-subsidized types of solar fuel, such as Pertamina Dex and Dexlite, did not change.

As in Jabodetabek, the price of Dexlite (CN 51) type fuel was stable at the level of Rp19,700 per liter and Pertamina Dex (CN 53) was also stable at the level of Rp21,150 per liter.

Meanwhile, the price of non-subsidized fuel oil (BBM) of the Pertamax series has decreased. The price of Pertamax has decreased from Rp. 16,250 per liter in July 2026, to Rp. 15,950 per liter starting August 1, 2026. The price of Pertamax Green also decreased from Rp. 17,000 per liter to Rp. 16,600 per liter.

Then, the price of Pertamax Turbo also decreased from Rp19,300 per liter to Rp18,300 per liter.

The price of assignment and subsidized fuel has not changed, namely Pertalite Rp10,000 per liter and Biosolar Rp6,800 per liter.
