Dony Oskaria admits there are many old problems with SOEs, promises to open to the public

JAKARTA - BP BUMN Head Dony Oskaria admitted that there were still many old problems in SOEs that had to be resolved. He said that the improvement was carried out one by one because the problem was big and not only concerned one company.

Dony conveyed this at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, Friday, July 31, when answering questions about the financial burden of a number of SOEs.

According to Dony, BP BUMN is currently dealing with problems that have existed before. He asked the public to see the problems of SOEs in a broader perspective.

"We must look at a broader perspective regarding this SOE. We are the new ones who are actually solving existing problems," said Dony.

He said the old problem had a large dimension. Therefore, the solution cannot be done at once.

"These problems have existed before with an extraordinary dimension. The size is. Well, of course the energy is also limited. One must be cleared," he said.

Dony said that a number of issues still had to be addressed. Among them are PT Pos, Adhi, Adhi Properti, WIKA Realty, PP Properti, to BUMN works.

"PT Pos still has problems. Yesterday, the problem was again Adhi, Adhi Properti. It is still one-on-one," said Dony.

He also touched on the problems at BUMN works and property subsidiaries that have not been completed.

"It's not a work. You know that our work is not finished. The properties of the work were. There is Adhi, there is WIKA Realty, there is PP Property," he said.

Dony emphasized that he wanted the issue to be opened to the public. According to him, the improvement of SOEs needs to be carried out neatly so that the condition of the company becomes healthier.

"I want everything to be open to the public," said Dony.

He said that BP BUMN was cleaning up a large number of companies. Dony said there were about a thousand SOEs that had to be cleaned up one by one.

"One thousand one by one we will clean it up," he said.

Dony also asked the public not to reverse the position of the party who is correcting the old problem. He emphasized that BP BUMN is currently trying to tidy up the conditions that already existed before.

"We are cleaning up, tidying up the condition," said Dony.

Dony said the settlement was carried out gradually due to limited time and energy. However, he ensured that the problems would not be left.

"God willing, hopefully our intentions are good. And God willing, we can clean it up one by one. But of course be patient," he said.
