JAKARTA - The growth of the Real World Assets (RWA) tokenization market is expected to drive changes in global investment access.
In the midst of this expansion, the transparency of asset reserves is considered to be the main factor in maintaining the credibility of blockchain-based products.
The report Tokenized Financial Assets: From Pilot to Scale published by McKinsey & Company estimates that the value of tokenized financial assets could approach 2 trillion US dollars (US) by 2030, potentially reaching around 4 trillion US dollars in an optimistic scenario.
In line with these projections, the value of real-world assets recorded on-chain has reached tens of billions of US dollars by early 2026.
The growth shows that tokenization is beginning to be adopted as an alternative to the distribution of financial assets, ranging from US stocks to exchange traded funds (ETFs).
Bitget CEO Gracy Chen assessed that market growth must be balanced with increased transparency standards.
"Every exchange wants to focus on providing tokenized stocks, but they ignore the importance of security and stability, especially related to transparent Proof of Reserves," he said.
In response, Reality, the RWA publishing platform supported by Bitget, published a Proof of Reserves (PoR) report for the entire rToken portfolio.
The reserve verification is conducted by The Network Firm, while the underlying assets are stored through Alpaca Securities LLC which is a registered broker-dealer with FINRA and is protected by SIPC.
Reality has currently issued more than 500 US stocks and ETFs in token form, including SpaceX, Tesla, and NVIDIA.
The company also noted that its assets under management (AUM) had exceeded US$100 million.
The move reflects the growing attention of industry players to governance and transparency as the global financial asset tokenization market evolves.
