With the operation of the new platform, all lines at Bogor Station can now serve the Commuter Line series with a formation (SF) of 12.
Vice President of Corporate Secretary of KAI Commuter, Karina Amanda, said that all stages of inspection and technical testing had been completed before the platform was operated.
According to Karina, the inspection includes the condition of the track, platform, operational support devices, to the fulfillment of all safety aspects in accordance with applicable regulations.
"With the operation of this line, all lines at Bogor Station can serve the SF12 Commuter Line series," said Karina.
Karina explained that currently the Bogor crossing serves 392 Commuter Line trips every day.
A total of 328 trips serve up to Bogor Station with the first departure at 04.03 WIB and the last arrival at 01.15 WIB the following day.
Meanwhile, 64 other trips serve routes to Depok Station and Nambo Station.
"In terms of operational facilities on the Bogor crossing, currently five new series of CLI-125 and CLI-225 series are served, which consist of SF12 and a combination of existing SF10 and SF8 series," he said.
In the first semester of 2026, the volume of Commuter Line users on the Bogor crossing was recorded at 78,077,679 people or an average of 431,368 users per day. The Bogor crossing is the line with the highest passenger volume in the Jabodetabek area.

In the initial stage of operation, KAI Commuter alerted service and security officers in the new platform hall area to manage user traffic. A number of facilities on the west side of platform 8 have also reopened.

KAI Commuter also apologized for the inconvenience during the process of extending the platform.
