PLN Engineering Restructures the Board of Directors, Handy Wihartady Appointed as CEO

JAKARTA - PLN Enjiniring officially has a new board of directors. This change of leadership is part of the company's efforts to strengthen business transformation while expanding its role in supporting the development of electricity infrastructure and the national energy transition.

Based on the shareholders' decision, Handy Wihartady was appointed as the President Director of PLN Enjiniring. Meanwhile, Ardhi Tartahadi was entrusted to serve as the Director of Marketing and Business Development, Warsono as the Director of Engineering, and Martono as the Director of Finance, Risk Management and Human Capital.

PLN Corporate Secretary Anita Widyiastuti said the change in the board of directors was an opportunity for the company to continue the transformation agenda that had been running while strengthening corporate governance.

"PLN Engineering has entered a new phase of the company's journey with the establishment of a new Board of Directors. This leadership team is a strategic momentum to strengthen corporate governance, continue the transformation agenda, and accelerate the role of PLN Engineering as a leading engineering consulting company in supporting the development of electricity infrastructure and the national energy transition," said Anita in her statement, Thursday, July 2.

With the new leadership, PLN Engineering targets strengthening its position as an Engineering Excellence Center in the PLN Group environment. The company will also continue to develop engineering solutions to support the implementation of the RUPTL 2025-2034, accelerate the energy transition, and build a more reliable and sustainable electricity infrastructure.

In addition, PLN Engineering will continue to play its role as a guardian spending through the provision of engineering studies, planning, and solutions to ensure that investment in the electricity sector is effective and provides added value.

Anita added that the company also expressed its appreciation to the previous board of directors who were considered to have laid an important foundation for the company's transformation.

Among them, to Chairani Rachmatullah who ended his term as President Director after being judged to have successfully strengthened the engineering capabilities and expanded PLN Engineering's contribution to various strategic national electricity projects.

Appreciation was also given to Kurnia Rumdhony for his contributions during his tenure as Director of Marketing and Business Development, especially in expanding the market, strengthening the business portfolio, and increasing corporate collaboration.

Through the new board of directors, PLN Engineering hopes that the transformation of the company can continue and strengthen its contribution to the PLN Group and the achievement of energy transition targets and Net Zero Emissions in Indonesia.
