JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works (PU) targets, there are 10 toll roads that can be completed by the end of 2026.

The dozens of toll roads are targeted to be used functionally during the upcoming Nataru period.

Head of the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT) of the Ministry of PU Ni Komang Rasminiati stated that the plan was adjusted to the progress of construction that is running until now.

"It is in accordance with the progress of construction so far, there are plans for about 10 sections. Hopefully it can be completed by the end of 2026 and this can be functionalized to support the movement of Nataru traffic," said Komang during a media discussion session at the Ministry of PU's office, Jakarta, Friday, June 19.

Komang explained that some of the sections that could potentially be functionalized include the Sigli-Banda Aceh Toll Section 1 of the Padang Tiji-Seulimeum section, the Palembang-Betung Toll Section 1 of the Kramasan-Pulau Rimau section, the Probolinggo-Banyuwangi Toll Section 3 of the Paiton-Besuki section, and the Jakarta-Cikampek (Japek) II South Toll Section 6 of the Kutanegara-Sadang section.

According to Komang, his party will continue to increase supervision of the completion of the construction of these sections so that the operational functional target at the end of 2026 can be achieved.

"This includes the potential that we will continue to increase supervision for the completion of construction at the end of 2026, so that it can be functional for the Nataru period later," he said.

To note, the South Japek II Toll Road is designed along 64.05 kilometers.

Once fully connected, the section will connect the Jakarta Outer Ring Road Toll Road in Bekasi with the Purbaleunyi Toll Road in Sadang, Purwakarta.

Then it is equipped with seven toll gates, namely GT Jatiasih; GT Bantar Gebang; GT Setu; GT Sukaragam; GT Taman Mekar; GT Kutanegara; and GT Sadang.
