JAKARTA - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga officially raised the price of non-subsidized fuel oil (BBM) types Pertamax and Pertamax Green 95 on June 10, 2026.

Based on the latest price list released by the company, the price of Pertamax increased from Rp. 12,300 per liter on June 9, 2026 to Rp. 16,250 per liter.

The increase reached Rp3,950 per liter or around 32.1 percent.

Meanwhile, the price of Pertamax Green 95 increased from Rp12,900 per liter to Rp17,000 per liter.

Thus, the product has increased by Rp4,100 per liter or about 31.8 percent.

Despite the adjustments to both products, Pertamina stated that a number of other types of fuel were still marketed at unchanged prices.

Responding to the potential impact of rising fuel prices on inflation, Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa assessed that the impact is expected to be relatively limited.

According to him, Pertamax is not a fuel commonly used by freight and public transportation, so the direct impact on distribution costs and commodity prices is estimated to be insignificant.

"The impact (inflation) should be relatively minimal because Pertamax is not used for freight," he told the media, Wednesday, June 10.

"It should be limited because it is not for public transportation, goods transportation does not use (Pertamax)," he added.

Regarding efforts to keep the subsidized fuel quota from swelling due to the increase in the price of non-subsidized fuel, Purbaya handed over the technical discussion to the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia.

"That's asking Mr. Bahlil, there must be another method. Nozzle control if I'm not mistaken, ask Mr. Bahlil who understands," he said.
