The realization of the Ministry of Industry's budget reached Rp. 898 billion as of June 5, 2026

JAKARTA - Minister of Industry (Menperin) Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita said that the realization of the Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) budget for the 2026 fiscal year (TA) reached Rp. 898 billion from the total effective ceiling of Kemenperin of Rp. 2.11 trillion as of June 5, 2026.

This was conveyed by Agus in a Working Meeting with Commission VII of the DPR at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday, January 26.

"Until June 5, 2026, out of a total ceiling of Rp. 2.11 trillion, the budget that has been realized is Rp. 898 billion or about 42.57 percent," said Agus.

The largest budget realization was recorded by the Inspector General (Itjen) which reached Rp. 19.3 billion or around 59.15 percent of the effective ceiling of Rp. 32.7 billion.

Then, followed by the General Secretariat (Setjen) with a budget realization achievement of Rp. 116.9 billion or equivalent to 53.17 percent of the effective ceiling of Rp. 219.9 billion and the Directorate General of Metal Industry, Machinery, Transportation Equipment and Electronics (Ditjen ILMATE) with a budget realization achievement of Rp. 33.5 billion or 48.25 percent of the effective ceiling of Rp. 69.5 billion.

The budget was said to have been used effectively and optimally in order to succeed in national priority programs, especially related to industry.

"We can report that the realization of the budget since the beginning of the year until May 2026 has consistently been above the target that has been set," he said.

Agus revealed that the achievement of this realization, among others, was the strengthening of the small and medium industry (IKM) program as a supply chain with a budget realization of IDR 13.48 billion.

"This achievement includes the growth of new entrepreneurs, strengthening the IKM center as well as facilitating IKM in the development of certification partnership products and market access," said Agus,

Then, the program to strengthen human resources development (HRD) of the industry with its realization reaching 23.69 percent or equivalent to Rp. 20.66 billion. Covering, vocational education and vocational training for industry reached Rp. 17.30 billion, as well as strengthening the competence infrastructure of Rp. 3.36 billion.

"Then the third is the acceleration program for the export of industrial products and services, this is still small, still below 6 percent," said Agus.

Next, there is a program to increase industrial productivity through the use of innovation and technology with a realization of 10.6 percent or around Rp6.61 billion from the ceiling of Rp62.49 billion.

Among others, for the restructuring of industrial machinery/equipment of IDR 4.22 billion and the application of technology in the industrial sector of IDR 2.39 billion.

"Then, the program for the industrial downstream based on natural resources and the development of priority industries, this realization is almost 35 percent," said Agus.

Then, there is a program to increase the use of domestic products and the development of the halal industry with a realization of 16.74 percent or equivalent to Rp. 3.60 billion, including business matching for domestic product purchases of Rp. 0.04 billion, product certification of Rp. 0.03 billion, certification of supervision and empowerment of the halal industry of Rp. 3.4 billion and industry exhibition of Rp. 0.13 billion.

Furthermore, there is a green industry acceleration program with a realization of IDR 1.51 billion, including for the fulfillment of green industry standards and principles of IDR 1.27 billion and the development of renewable energy of IDR 0.24 billion.

In addition, there is an industrial agglomeration program through industrial areas with a realization of 32.23 percent or equivalent to Rp. 0.97 billion.

"In general, the achievement of this realization shows that a number of priority programs have been implemented and the highest realization is in the industrial downstream program based on natural resources and the development of priority industries," he explained.
